Tom Peterson
I’ve finished two new works to start out the new year: Cathay, a piano concerto, and Clockwork Aviary, a short, energetic piece for small orchestra. I’m very pleased with them both — hopefully I’ll have more news about these shortly.
The incredible Ossian Ensemble premiered my short work, London Saltarello on One Note at RCM Junior Fellows’ Night on July 6.
Ballade for organ was awarded Honorable Mention in the 2009 Marilyn Mason Composition Competition and was included in the AGO 2009 Detroit Regional Anthology.
I update my blog about matters musical and otherwise. Check it out here.
